Networking Session: Student Union and Peace Forum

On October 13, 2023, YAMG in collaboration with USAID hosted a dynamic networking session targeting university students who play pivotal roles in their respective Student Unions and Peace Forums. This event was meticulously organized to foster connections between various universities and address conflicts that arise both on campus and within the frameworks of Student Unions and Peace Forums. The goal was not just to highlight these issues but to actively seek solutions through collaborative dialogue.

The networking event was a resounding success, featuring engaging panel discussions and insightful roundtable discussions. These discussions provided a platform for students to voice their concerns and experiences regarding the challenges they face within their Student Unions and Peace Forums. Major issues such as communication breakdowns, differing priorities, and the need for effective conflict resolution mechanisms were brought to the forefront. The event allowed students to engage in meaningful conversations, exchange ideas, and work together towards practical solutions.

We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who participated and contributed their innovative ideas and perspectives. Your involvement was crucial in making this event impactful and productive. The enthusiasm and commitment shown by the attendees were truly inspiring, and we are optimistic that the connections made and the solutions discussed will lead to significant improvements in university campus dynamics.

Special thanks to USAID for their unwavering support and collaboration. Their partnership was instrumental in the success of this event, and we look forward to continued cooperation in future initiatives. Together, we are making strides towards creating more harmonious and effective student communities across universities.
